Miles&More: Double Status Miles in the First Half of 2022 + 2,000 Status Miles for Intercontinental Flights

Lufthansa Airbus A350

Miles&More is once again making it easier to (re)qualify for a frequent flyer status in 2022. However, this is only limited to the first half of the year. Double status miles were already credited in 2021 due to the Corona crisis.

Between January 1 and June 30, 2022, double status and HON Circle miles will be credited for flights taken with airlines in the Lufthansa Group and some airline partners. This allows you to get the FTL status after 17,500 miles instead of 35,000 or the Senator status after 50,000 status miles, much easier than the otherwise required 100,000 miles.

In addition, for flights between April 1 and June 30, 2022, you’ll get 2,000 additional status and HON Circle miles for each intercontinental flight segment (e.g. Europe – America/Asia/…) regardless of the travel class and unlimited in the number of flights.

You can take advantage of these goodwill policies on flights operated by the following airlines:

Active registration is not necessary. The additional status miles for the flights that you have already completed will probably be credited to your account in the next few days/weeks.

Here are some deals that you could book to take advantage of this opportunity to reach Miles&More status flying half as much as you’d usually need to:

Where did you get this story from? I can’t find any mention of it on the M&M website.

Does this also account for code share flights, e.g. booked on LH, but ET flight?

    • Peer says:

The flights must be operated by one of the mentioned airlines. So a LH flight operated by Ethiopian won’t count, while an ET flight operated by LH would.
