For the first time in quite a while we present you with a deal to Vietnam, as Star Alliance carriers Austrian Airlines and SWISS reduced prices to Ho Chi Minh City in the South of the country. Their €492 even include a checked bag up to 23 kg. Sadly, two stops are necessary to reach Vietnam for a price that low.

The fare rules give no information on how long tickets are on sale. You need to stay at least seven days in Vietnam to get the lowest price, a maximum stay of twelve months applies. Except during the Summer holidays, availability is fairly good.
Use Google Flights to find additional flight dates. Since online travel agencies don’t sell these tickets cheaper, you should book on Austrian’s or Swiss’ website.

Austrian and Swiss issue tickets in booking class K, Thai Smiles in T. Your earning opportunities are limited, to put it mildly. A trip with Austrian yields the following miles or points:
