Die Norwegian Getaway left the yard in 2015. She is built for 4,200 passengers and 1,700 crew members, which find accommodation within her 326 m long and 41 m wide fuselage. The ship offers 15 restaurants and several bars. Further, there is also a cinema, a shopping street, swimming pools and a gym. The inside cabins look like this:

Because the cruise starts and ends in Rome, it should be rather easy to get a cheap positioning roundtrip. The city receives direct service from almost any major and minor airport in Europe. Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci airport (FCO) is closer to Civitavecchia, while Ciampino airport (CIA) is served by many low-cost carriers such as Wizzair and Ryanair.

Since missing the departure of the ship results in automatic cancellation of your entire booking, we recommend arriving at least one day prior to departure. Since Rome is one of the most beautiful and certainly unique cities on the continent, some additional days in the city surely won’t hurt.
