Bangkok: Starting at €362 With Lufthansa Group or SkyTeam From France (Without Luggage)

Bangkok

Star Alliance carriers Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS offer a cavalcade of attractive roundtrip fares to Bangkok. You can reach Thailand’s capital with a single layover in Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna or Zurich as cheap as €349 from Nice, France. Other origins are available at discounted prices as well. Sadly, these fares do not include checked luggage. It costs €90 to add it both ways at the carrier’s websites.

Info

From most airports, you will find offers from SkyTeam carriers Air France and KLM at the same price. These flights feature a layover in Amsterdam or Paris (no nonstop flights from Paris are available at this fare). If you choose SkyTeam, adding checked bags increases the price by just €80 on klm.com.

Flights with departures from the following cities are available at fairly good prices:

Great times and an attractive fare for flights to Bangkok

Please be aware that a layover in Munich results in a Eurowings long haul flight. Eurowings is a low cost subsidiary of Lufthansa and doesn’t live up to Lufthansa’s standards. The other airlines mentioned in this deal are pretty much on par.

Search & Book

According to the fare rules, flights at this fare will be available until March 12, 2020. They may very well run out of availability earlier. You can only score them if you’re trip is longer than five days or includes at least one night from Saturday to Sunday. Further, your trip may not exceed three months. These flights can be found almost on a daily basis until end of April. There are also some available dates in May.

Google Flights shows the exact available dates. You can search for suiting flight dates there (instructions) and see if prices drop when entering them in our flight search (in most cases, the cheapest offer comes directely from Lufthansa or KLM anyways). If you want to add checked baggage, the best way is usually to purchase your tickets directly on the airline’s website.
