Star Alliance airline Lufthansa is currently selling cheap First Class flights from various French cities to Auckland, New Zealand. If you select the flights wisely and credit them at the correct frequent flyer program, you’ll even get enough miles for a 2-year Star Alliance Gold status!

We’ve found these cheap flights to Auckland from the following French cities:

This is one of the options to fly to Auckland. This one is with Swiss, Air New Zealand and Cathay.

Not only do these flights allow you to take 3 x 32 kg of luggage with you, but you’ll also have access to the First Class Lounge in Frankfurt/Zurich, which was recently crowned as the best First Class Lounge in the world.

There are different variations of how to fly these flights. From France, you would either fly to Frankfurt, Munich, or Zurich. The second layover would either be in Shanghai, Hong Kong, or Singapore. From there you’d fly to Auckland with Air New Zealand (or Cathay from Hong Kong).

Search & Book

We do not know until when this deal will continue to be valid, so we’d recommend booking rather soon. You can find available dates on Google Flights, or using Lufthansa’s best-price-search. You should undoubtedly book these flights on lufthansa.com, once you’ve decided on the dates. There is availability in almost every month, but not every day, so it’s hard to give you a general idea of when you’ll be able to fly.

The short feeder flights from France are issued in Business Class J. The long-haul First Class flights from Europe to Asia are always issued in class A. The Business Class flight to Auckland is issued in class C for Air New Zealand, and class J for Cathay.
