Delta: One-Way Los Angeles → Tokyo for €268 / $287 (with Luggage)

Delta Air Lines currently has a good deal on offer for one-way flights from Los Angeles to Tokyo. You can get tickets for as little as US$287 (~€265). Checked baggage is included and availability can be found for travel from August to October. The flights are either non-stop or via Seattle.


Entry into Japan is now permitted again without a visa. Either proof of vaccination including a booster or a negative covid test no older than 72 hours before departure is required.

As mentioned at the beginning, you can usually either fly non-stop to Tokyo in an Airbus A330-900, or you’ll fly to Seattle first (Boeing 737 or Airbus A321), before taking the A330-900 from there. The legroom is always 79 centimetres.

The fare rules do not say how long the offer will remain valid. It is available for travel from August to October. You can find available dates very easily with the help of Google Flights (instructions). You can book the flights directly on Delta’s website. The booking class at Delta is E. Despite luggage being included, it is still a basic fare that will get you 0 miles at Delta SkyMiles. At other programs, you will receive the following credits for the non-stop flight:
