There is currently a deal for the Arcotel in Berlin on Travelzoo. The hotel is discounted by roughly 30% and costs only €109. Although the Arcotel John F Berlin can also be booked at a similar price on its website, an upgrade to the superior room and breakfast is included when booking via Travelzoo. The booking can also be cancelled up to 7 days before arrival.
This deal is available on the Spanish and French Travelzoo websites. If you don’t speak Spanish or French, we recommend that you use a browser that can translate the site for you. Once you’ve bought the voucher, you’ll be able to view it on the English Travelzoo site as well. Redeeming the voucher at the hotel is also possible in English.
You will also receive a free bottle of water and be granted a late check-out until 15:00. You can redeem the Travelzoo voucher for stays during the following travel periods:
- Before June 1
- June 3-16
- June 18-29
- July 1 – August 31
You can redeem the vouchers by sending an email to the hotel. If you wish to stay more than one night, simply buy multiple vouchers. If you don’t end up using these vouchers, you can easily return them for a full refund. Should you already have redeemed the voucher, you can cancel the reservation up to 7 days before arrival.
If you’re unsure about how many nights you’re going to stay, simply buy a few extra vouchers. Once you’ve decided, you can just get a refund for the ones you bought in excess.

The Hotel
The Arcotel is a 4-star hotel in Berlin, not far from the Gendarmenmarkt, the German Historical Museum and the Berlin Cathedral. The superior rooms are quite large at 23-25 m².
The hotel has received good reviews from previous guests, many of them praising the large, quiet rooms and comfortable beds, the proximity to the city centre as well as to many public transportation options, and the friendly and professional staff at the front desk. Merely some issues with housekeeping have come up in the reviews.
Price Check
If you book directly at the hotel, prices for a refundable superior room with a bottle of water and breakfast for 2 would roughly start at €150, which is about 30% more than what you’d be paying for the Travelzoo voucher. While booking at the hotel would allow you to cancel your reservation up to 1 day before arrival (instead of 7 at Travelzoo), you would have the additional advantage of a late check-out by using the Travelzoo voucher. Another upside of the Travelzoo voucher is that you don’t yet have to decide on a specific date.
