Oneworld member Alaska Airlines and Irish carrier Aer Lingus present you a rather unusual fare: You can fly to Bozeman, Montana – just a 90-minute drive away from Yellowstone National Park’s north entrance – for an incredibly low €286. Even better, this fare already includes a checked bag up to 23 kg. Most itineraries include an overnight layover in Seattle on the outbound leg.
Sadly, these tickets are only offered by online travel agencies. This comes with an increased risk if you try to cancel or rebook these flights.
You have to be fully vaccinated for at least 14 days to enter the United States, with an approved vaccine, unless you are a US resident/citizen. You can read more about the entry requirements at the CDC.
We have not been able to find any flight dates before September 1 or after November 1, 2022, so you should concentrate your search on September and October 2022. Beware that most sites at Yellowstone Park close on October 10, so you might want to arrive there (way) earlier.
Aer Lingus will take you from Dublin to Seattle on an Airbus A330. Your onward flight to Bozeman will be handled by an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737. Most itineraries include an overnight layover in Seattle on the outbound leg.

Destination
Bozeman airport is located a 90-minute drive north of Yellowstone National Park’s North Entrance. 9 rental car companies hold offices at the airport, ensuring you will be able to leave without trouble.
Arriving at Yellowstone Park, a seven-day pass for a car, and the people it carries, is available at US$35 (~€33). Since most visitor sites close for the snowy winter on October 10, 2022, you should arrive earlier, preferably weeks ahead.
Lodging inside the park premises can be both expensive and uncomfortable. We advise you plan an overnight stay nearby, either in Bozeman directly or in Cody, Wyoming. Whichever category and hotel you opt for, make sure to get the best price! Our recommendation is searching on booking.com, or even on our own Travel-Dealz hotel search, unless you want to stay inside the park. If that is the case, Yellowstone National Park lodges will show you available rooms and lodges.

Danke für deinen Hinweis. Ich persönlich war Mitte September im Park, es lag zwar Schnee, aber alles war noch offen. Sicherlich ist es nicht ratsam, im Oktober aufzubrechen, aber Anfang September kann man durchaus noch positive Erfahrungen sammeln.
