Star Alliance airlines Lufthansa and Swiss are currently offering cheap flights from Valencia and Barcelona to Moscow. Availability is very good from January onwards. Sadly, luggage is not included and will cost you an additional €50.
Lufthansa and Swiss will give you light snacks and drinks on all of their flights. Merely your luggage is not included.
From Spain you would either fly to Frankfurt, Munich or, if you’re flying with Swiss, Zurich. From there you will continue your trip to Moscow.
Please keep in mind that almost all EU citizens need to apply for a visa before travelling to Russia.
Search & Book
The fare rules do not state until when this deal is valid. They only state that your trip has to be 3 days (or a Saturday or Sunday) to 12 months long. Availability is fairly good from January onwards and ends March 2020.
You can use Google Flights to look for available dates, and check prices with our flight search. If you wish to fly with luggage, booking directly at lufthansa.com might be the best choice for you.
Miles
All flights are issued in class K, which only gives very low amounts of miles. Here’s an example for Valencia-Moscow via Frankfurt:
