Turkish Airlines Sale: Business Class Starting at €1,096 From Oslo

bangkok thailand grand palace

Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines has a nice 40% discount sale going, putting an attractive €1,096 (~NOK 12,891) price tag on roundtrips departing from Oslo. A stopover in Istanbul is necessary on both out- and inbound trip. There’s almost daily availability from April 1 onward, except during the summer vacation.

Info

Worldwide travel restrictions are in place to slow the spread of Covid-19. We strongly recommend gathering detailed information about the travel and quarantine restrictions that apply to your desired origin and destination.

A good start is the International Air Transport Association (IATA) website. It provides current updates on a country’s immigration policies. Even better, the Covid-19 Travel Regulations Map is one of the most useful tools you can find.

The discount applies to all flights (except to China), but we found the following connections to be the biggest highlights from Oslo:

Turkish Airlines serves Oslo twice daily with Airbus A321 aircraft. These feature a dedicated business class cabin. Between flights, you may enjoy lounge access in the new Istanbul Int’l airport. The long-haul flights are then carried out using a wide-body aircraft.

Warning

We expect further shakeups in the airline industry over the following months. Some services might be cancelled, aircraft changed or downgraded. The schedule we describe may very well change.

Search & Book

According to the fare rules, this offer will be online until January 15, 2021. It covers trips starting after April 1, 2021. You can check out the exact availability on Google Flights (instructions). You should then book directly on Turkish Airlines’ website.

A great fare for a business class trip to Bangkok.

Mileage

Turkish Airlines issues tickets for all flight segments in booking class J. This is a rather good booking class. Even without tier bonuses, most Star Alliance frequent flyer programs will credit at least 100% of your traveled distance. A roundtrip to Bangkok should get you:

Turkish Airlines Business Class

Turkish Airlines’ Business Class product receives a lot of praise, especially for their outstanding catering that features on-board chefs on long haul routes. Their seats are comfortable and fully reclineable to a lie flat position.

Main point of criticism is their 2-3-2 seating pattern aboard their Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, that denies direct aisle access to the middle seat. Their Airbus A330 family feature are 2-2-2 pattern, which solves this problem. These reviews describe Turkish Airlines’ business class as fantastic and highly underrated:
