Travelzoo is once again selling an interesting hotel voucher. This time, you can stay at the 4-star Theaterhotel in Vienna for only €99, including breakfast. These vouchers can then be redeemed anytime before August 31, 2022. As long as there’s a room available, you’d get this fixed price, which is roughly 25% below the usual price of this hotel.
This deal is available on the Spanish and French Travelzoo websites. If you don’t speak Spanish or French, we recommend that you use a browser that can translate the site for you. Once you’ve bought the voucher, you’ll be able to view it on the English Travelzoo site as well. Redeeming the voucher at the hotel is also possible in English.
You can purchase these vouchers until February 2, 2022. Once you’ve purchased them, you simply need to email the hotel when you’ve figured out the dates that you want to stay there. Should you, later on, decide, that you don’t want to travel to Vienna (or stay at this hotel) you can simply get a full refund for these vouchers. If you already redeemed them, you can cancel your reservation up until 5 days before your arrival.
If you’re unsure about how many nights you’re going to stay, simply buy a few extra vouchers. Once you’ve decided, you can just get a refund for the ones you bought in excess.
The Hotel
The 4-star Theaterhotel in Vienna is a traditional and yet stylish hotel that was built right next to the theatre in 1890 but renovated last year. Every room is quite large and dedicated to an actor, composer, or theatrical director. Another fun fact: the hotel plants a tree for each stay.

The hotel got good reviews from previous guests, most of them complimenting the hotel’s proximity to the city centre and the friendly staff (especially at the front desk).
You’ll be staying in the Josefstadt neighbourhood, which is a very good location, as it is a trendy and densely-populated place in the inner-city. The city’s main shopping street, the Josefstädter Straße, is located nearby, with many shops and restaurants aimed at young people. Of course, you also have the 1822 theatre right next door. You surely won’t have any problems finding something to eat within walking distance, nor getting to the city’s sights. The Hofburg, for instance, is only a 15-minute walk away.
Price Comparison
A room at this hotel would usually cost roughly €130 during the summer if you book the refundable rate. During the winter, you’d typically pay roughly €120. The hotel’s website doesn’t specify if breakfast is included – which could increase the hotel’s price by another €25, but with your Travelzoo vouchers, you’ll certainly have breakfast for two included in this €99 rate.
