Star Alliance member TAP is selling its flights between Spain and various European countries at very cheap prices. But not only that: you can also add a free stopover in Lisbon or Porto – a great addition to your vacation. These routes can usually be flown in either direction for a similar price. Luggage, however, is not included and would increase the price by roughly €40.
Availability is quite good from mid-September onward.
Here are some of the cheapest routes we could find:
- Luxembourg: €64
- Oslo: €69
- Warsaw: €70
- Venice: €79
- Copenhagen: €79
- Zurich: €85
- Paris: €87
- Rome: €87
- Brussels: €88
- Stockholm: €90
- Vienna: €96
- London: €98
The prices above are for flights to/from Málaga or Valencia. Flights to/from Bilbao, Barcelona, and Madrid would cost roughly €15 more.
All flights include a layover in Lisbon. As stated in the introduction, you can decide to stay up to 5 days in Lisbon before continuing your journey.
Search & Book
The only restriction mentioned in the fare rules is a minimum stay requirement of 5 days (or a Sunday). From what we could see on Google Flights, it seems that availability is quite good from mid-September onward, with some dates also being possible before September. We strongly recommend that you book directly on TAP’s website.
Adding a Stopover in Lisbon or Porto
If you book directly on TAP’s website, a pop-up window will automatically open. Its user-friendly interface asks you if and how long you’d like to stay in Portugal. This is by far the easiest way to make the most out of a trip with TAP to any destination of your choice. A stopover in Porto can be added the same way. The best thing – the price of your flight remains the same!
Mileage
The tickets are issued in booking class O. You can expect to roughly get:
- 500 Award Miles + 80 Points on Miles&More
- 306 Miles on Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
- 306 Award Miles on Emirates Skywards
- 306 Miles on Air Canada Aeroplan
- 306 Miles on Egyptair Plus
