Tel Aviv: Star Alliance flights from France starting at €173 incl. luggage

Tel Aviv, Israel

You can currently find cheap two-way flights for less than €200 from many French airports to Tel Aviv in Israel. Flights are generally with the Lufthansa Group airlines Swiss, Austrian and, of course, Lufthansa, or, in some rare cases with Turkish Airlines. Both airlines let you take one piece of luggage with you. Lufthansa allows 23 kg, Turkish Airlines even 30 kg.

Update

This deal is back again and prices are still as low as they’ve been the first time!

The cheapest prices we could find for the following French airports are:

If you fly with Turkish Airlines, you’ll have a layover in Istanbul, otherwise, it would be Munich, Frankfurt, Zurich or Vienna.

While Lufthansa operates short-haul aircraft on both routes, that have limited comfort and practically no entertainment options, Turkish airlines use long-haul aircraft for the flights to/from Tel Aviv.

Search & Book

This offer is valid until July 19, 2019. The stay length has to be between 3 days and 3 months. Due to the sometimes limited availability we recommend booking as soon as possible. The number of free seats varies by airport, so it will be best to check on Google Flights (instructions) if you can find dates that will work for you.

You can get the cheapest fares at Skyscanner, or book directly at the airlines’ websites (lufthansa.com or turkishairlines.com), which we mostly recommend, even if the price is a bit higher.

Miles

Lufthansa Group tickets are issued in class K, Turkish Airlines issues them in class U. Here you can see the mileage accrual for most frequent flyer programs when flying with Lufthansa from Strasbourg to Tel Aviv via Munich:

  • 1,104 Miles on ANA Mileage Club
  • 1,076 Award Miles + 160 Points on Miles&More
  • 1,076 Points on SAS EuroBonus
  • 922 Award Miles + 186 PQP on United MileagePlus
  • 922 CV Points on Vistara Club Vistara
Data provided by miles.travel-dealz.com. Without guarantee on correctness.

Other routings will give you a similar amount of miles. As always, Miles&More Frequent Travellers and Senators will get a 25% mileage bonus, which would add up to a total of roughly 2.100 miles.

Flying with Turkish Airlines would only give you around 1.000 Miles for Turkish’s own frequent flyer program, Miles&Smiles, but none for any other programs.
