Yesterday we already introduced you to the partner sale from Brussels in business class and first class, but the offer in premium economy is also worth a look, as there are some good prices (mainly to Africa). If there are at least two of you, you can get to all sorts of destinations starting at €679. The offer is valid until June 7, but the availability of such offers usually decreases rapidly.
At least, Lufthansa allows the rebooking of tickets without having to pay a rebooking fee. However, the price difference will apply, which can quickly amount to several hundred euros and upwards. It should also be possible to change the route and have the ticket price applied to the next good offer. Experience has shown that the Lufthansa & Swiss hotline has a hard time rebooking partner fares.
Feel free to use our search form to get your flights. Simply select your preferred route and dates, and we’ll redirect you to Lufthansa’s website, where the tickets with all 3 airlines can be booked. You can find these trips from July 1 to August 31.
We’ve found the following prices:
- Abidjan: €679 pp
- Accra: €699 pp
- Douala: €700 pp
- Kinshasa: €713 pp
- Freetown: €754 pp
- Johannesburg: €762 pp
- Almaty: €770 pp
- Bengaluru: €799 pp
- Nairobi: €800 pp

You can fly in the premium economy of the three airlines (Lufthansa, Swiss, Brussels Airlines). To Africa, for example, there are some direct connections with Brussels Airlines.
Search & Book
According to fare rules, the offer is valid until June 7, 2022. However, availability will surely decrease over time, so you should not wait too long to book. The travel period includes dates from July 1 to August 31. There must be at least two people in a booking to get the prices shown.
The minimum stay requirement is 6 days or one Sunday. You can stay at the destination for a maximum of 3 months. The fare conditions may vary depending on the destination.
You can usually (but not always) find suitable dates with the help of Google Flights (instructions). The best way to book is on Lufthansa’s website. It is also possible to book on the websites of Swiss or Brussels Airlines.

Lufthansa’s Premium Economy
In comparison to other airlines, Lufthansa’s Premium Economy is solid, but not outstanding. The reclining seats and legroom are above average. Still, cabin service and entertainment are almost the same as in LH’s economy class product.
In contrast to its regular economy seats, Lufthansa offers broader and more comfortable seats in Premium Economy, switching from a 3-4-3 / 3-3-3 seat alignment to 2-4-2 (Boeing 747) or 2-3-2 on its wide-body aircraft. Furthermore, you are able to check two bags up to 23 kg at no additional cost. While the food is identical, it’ll be served on chinaware instead of plastic.
