Star Alliance member TAP is selling discounted tickets for economy flights from Amsterdam to the USA. Flights to Chicago now only cost €253. Luggage is not included. Should you wish to add a piece of luggage to your booking, that would increase the price by exactly €100. If you book through an OTA, you can even pay as little as €214.
Flying to the USA is currently not really possible, and we don’t know when the entry restrictions will be lifted. We recommend that you book for September rather than June, as there have been numerous issues with TAP regarding cancellations and refunds – most people still haven’t gotten their money back.
You would always first fly to Lisbon, from where you’d fly to the USA on an Airbus A330.

This deal expires on July 26, 2021 and is valid for flights between November and March (except from December 15 until January 15), while respecting a minimum stay of one Saturday.
Google Flights shows all available dates, as does our own calendar above, which will either redirect you to TAP’s booking site or let you look for the cheapest OTA price on our Travel-Dealz flight search.
All tickets will be issued in booking class O. You can expect to get the following number of miles:
- 2,250 Miles on Miles&More
- 1,030 Miles on EgyptAir Plus
- 1,030 Miles on Asiana Club
- 1,030 Miles on Air Canada Aeroplan
- 1,030 Miles on Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles
- 514 Miles on Azul TudoAzul
As you can see, the number of miles is laughable and won’t get you anywhere.
