Great price for a trip to Paraguay

The availability for this deal is very good all year long, with the exception of July and the beginning of August. Unfortunately, the fare does not include checked luggage. If you want to add some, you can do so by paying an extra €100 per return flight.

Your trip will always include a layover in Europe. Depending on the carrier you choose, this can be Amsterdam or Paris. From there, the airline will fly you to South America, where you will change airplanes again before your journey to your final destinations continues.

Search & Book

According to the fare rules, tickets will only be sold between January 7th and 21st, 2020. The offer is valid for trips commencing on or before December 10th. But there are more seasonal restrictions:

  • January 1st through June 30th
  • August 21st through December 21st

Minimum stay requirements are for either six days or at least one night from Saturday to Sunday. The longest the fare will allow for is three months.

Mileage

Information & Tips for Uruguay

Uruguay is a country in South America famous for two things: football and investments. Even while its population is smaller than most major cities in the world (around 3,5 million), Uruguay’s national football team has won the FIFA World Cup twice. Until today, this is a major source of pride for this nation. Due to a lack of natural resources, Uruguay tries attract many South American investors. A model similiar to that of Switzerland. As a consequence, Uruguay is one of the richest countries in South America. It is known for its liberal society as well, being the first country worldwide to legalize the recreational purchase and use of cannabis.

Major points of interest are its capital Montevideo and UNESCO World Heritage Colonia del Sacramento. This a pilgrims’ village at the banks of Rio de la Plata.

Visa & Immigration

Most EU-Citizens will receive a 90 day permit upon arrival in Uruguay. Further applications in advance are not necessary. If you plan a longer stay, please inform yourself.

Currency

Official currency is the Uruguayan Peso ($U). €1 buys roughly $U40. Since Uruguay’s economy is largely based on banks, retrieving money via ATMs is no problem in any major city in the country, especially Montevideo.
