SQ 22 for €1,366: Enjoy the World’s Longest Flight in Business Class

Singapore Airlines A350 Business Class

Star Alliance member Singapore Airlines currently operates the world’s longest commercial flight: their nonstop service from Singapore to Newark Liberty Airport near New York. Oneway tickets for this trip usually cost around €4,000.

You can drastically decrease this price (and add 5 hours in SQ’s formidable business class) by starting your trip in Ahmadebad, India. A one-way business class ticket from Ahemdebad to Newark starts at €1,366 and includes SQ 22 as part of the journey.

Singapore Airlines operates Airbus A330 aircraft between Ahmadebad and Singapore. On the looong flight to New York, an Airbus A350-900 ULR (Ultra Long Range) hosts you. Singapore Airlines equips this aircraft specifically for this journey, featuring only business class and premium economy seats.

Search & Book

Google Flights‘ calendar helps you find these fares accurately (instructions). You can retrieve suiting travel dates there and use our flight search to buy the cheapest ticket. It is usually offered by Singapore Airlines.

A word of advice, though: If you use the re-direct from Google Flights to SQ’s website, either the price or your connection will change. This fare will only work if you search for AMD-SIN and SIN-EWR as two different flight segments (including a stopover in Singapore) within the same booking. To avoid this, we recommend to use this booking pattern within our flightsearch:

flightsearch AMD EWR
Two flight segments, one ticket – the best way to get this fare.

This fare shows great availability from November 2019 through June 2020 for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday departures from Ahmadebad.

Warning

Please inform yourself whether you need a visa to enter India. Most European citizens will have to apply for a e-Tourist Visa before entering the country. There is no chance to get a Visa on Arrival.
