Not only is the rate refundable up to 8 days before arrival but also includes breakfast, a welcome cocktail, a bottle of wine, and a fruit basket. All of that only costs £57 (~€66) as long as you spend at least 3 nights at the hotel, adding to a total of £171 (~€199).
You can get this price if you stay there in April and early May, two months with milder temperatures than the hot summer. Prices in the latter half of may are up to £75 (~€87), which is still a bargain.
The Hotel
The Hotel R2 Bahia Cala Rajada is an informal 4-star hotel, very close to the Playa Son Moll and Cala Moll. The hotel has a fitness centre, a pool, a spa, a restaurant, and a staff that offers good service. The junior suites usually have a balcony.
Previous guests have left good reviews, many of them praising the nice atmosphere since the renovation roughly 4 years ago. Merely the bathrooms have received some criticism, some guests complaining about the lack of a clear separation between the room and bathroom.
The hotel is close to many restaurants. Though there is a bus stop close by, it may be wise to rent a car as many famous sights, such as the Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca are roughly 80 km away, as is Palma de Mallorca airport.
