It doesn’t happen too often that we can promote flights that depart from Bosnia and Herzegovina. And this round-trip with 5-star airline Qatar Airways from Sarajevo to Bali, Indonesia is truly a nice deal. Prices start at BAM 800/€407, and the fare includes one piece of checked luggage.
Some connections include an overnight layover in Doha that unfortunately isn’t long enough to take advantage of the stopover program that Qatar offers. But Doha Hamad Airport is open 24 hours, so you don’t have to look for accommodation if you don’t want to.
But in case you are interested in checking out Qatar or at least the capital city: the fare does allow stopovers in Doha up to 96 hours – free of charge.
Qatar will operate an Airbus A320 and the first segment to the Persian Gulf. From there you’ll be on board of a Boeing 787 or 777.
Search & Book
Fare rules state that Qatar will be selling tickets for these discounted flights until June 26th, 2019. Or, of course, until all the cheapest seats are all gone.
The offer is valid for travel commencing on or after May 30th, 2019. You have to stay for at least 7 days, 2 months is the maximum stay requirement. Affordable connections can be found from September through March 2020.
Google Flights (instructions) is always a good starting point if you want to find the dates that work best for you. If you use Skyscanner to compare prices, you’ll pay slightly less than you will if you book directly on Qatar’s website. Here you will pay around BAM 905/€460.
Information & Tips for Bali
Bali is probably the most popular holiday island in Indonesia. While the metropolises of the country are more interesting for tourists that like the hustle and bustle, Bali offers a lot of recreation options with beaches and the rainforest.
Bali is one of the most expensive destinations in Asia when it comes to airfares from Europe. Here you have to be prepared to pay €400 – €600 for a return flight. Everything under €500 is an excellent price for Bali.
The Best Time to Visit
From May to October Bali is under the influence of the monsoon. It brings hot and dry air and a lot of rain. Therefore, the dry season is the best travel time for Bali. Those who come to the island between May and October can look forward to good holiday weather without inconveniences.
From/to the airport
The main airport on the island is Denpasar. The resorts and hotels, however, are mostly further out. Many hotels offer transfers for their guests. Otherwise, it is advisable to take a taxi or organize a transfer yourself.
