€520 / $571 Nonstop Business Class Round Trips from Miami to Lima, Peru

Lima Peru

LATAM Peru has put a great price tag on its nonstop service from Miami to Peru’s Capital Lima. Roundtrip tickets in LATAM’s Boeing 767 wide body business class are sold as low as US$571 (~€533). There is a huge catch in these Covid-19 ravaged times – this fare allows a refund of only 20%!

LA MIA LIM C 500
An attractive fare for 11 hours in a lie flat business class.

LATAM runs up to three daily flights between Miami and Lima. All of them are advertised as Boeing 767 service with a 2-2-2 business class configuration.

Warning

We expect major shake ups in the aviation industry in the upcoming months. The retirement of older aircraft (like LATAM’s Boeing 767) is possible as well as the cancellation of some nonstop services. You’ll book at your own risk.

Flights at this fare are available until April 5, 2020. The travel period is restricted by December 31, 2020. Until then, all travel must be completed. A minimum stay of three days between arrival and departure from Lima applies. This fare shows daily availability from May 2020 onwards. We strictly advise against any booking prior to July or August 2020.

Google Flights displays these fares accurately. Once you’ve found suiting flight dates, you can enter them in our flight search to find an online travel agency who sells these tickets, charging about €70 less than the airline. Despite that, it is safer to book directly with LATAM, which is why we advertise their price.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.

Mileage

LATAM issues these tickets in booking class Z. This is a regular premium booking class, turning these flights into valuable opportunity to earn miles:
