When Barcelona is on your travel bucket list in early 2023, and you wouldn’t mind a little extra comfort, you should have a closer look at the Le Meridien. The hotel currently charges €241 per night, a flexible rate without breakfast. You will also receive a room upgrade to a higher, non-suite category. Probably, from a standard room, they’ll upgrade you to a premium deluxe room. Both aren’t much different, but the premium deluxe room would usually cost €30 more per night. The difference is a few square meters more and a higher floor.

The Hotel
The Le Meridien Barcelona is a five-star-rated hotel located directly at one of the city’s famous Ramblas. With the Picasso Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in proximity and the next metro station just a five-minute walk away, it is ideally located for tourists who wish to explore the city without a car.
Even for those who don’t want to be out exploring one of Europe’s most attractive cities all day: You can get spa treatments, work out in the hotel’s fitness centre or enjoy delicious dishes in the hotel’s restaurant.
Price Check
This is a decent deal, as ASMALLWORLD is charging the same price but giving you many additional benefits, such as the early check-in, late check-out and the room upgrade.
Other five star chain hotels like the Kimpton Viadora (€298) or the InterContinental Barcelona (€294) charge similar refundable prices during the travel period, for their lowest room category including breakfast. You will still get the free upgrade, late check-in and check-out and a waaaaay better location for less money when choosing the Le Meridien.
If you are trying to get rooms later in the year, you can still get the ASMALLWORLD benefits, but room prices quickly rise to €300 in April to more than €500 in the summer.
