Nepal: €414 From Amsterdam & Sofia With Qatar

Mount Everest, Nepal

We don’t promote cheap flights to Nepal that often. For the simple reason that they are rather rare. And especially trips with great airlines, such as 5-star carrier Qatar Airways are an excellent find. Currently, the Oneworld member is selling tickets for round-trips for flights from Sofia and Amsterdam to Kathmandu for prices starting at €414.

And other airlines are competing with Qatar Airlines for customers on the route from Amsterdam as well. Etihad has a very similar offer. Sometime even at a slightly lower price.

Qatar Airways will fly you from Amsterdam or Sofia to Doha before our trip to Kathmandu continues. Be aware of long layover times! Especially the very cheap offers might include an overnight stop. Trips with Etihad include a layover in the U.A.E.

Once again, Google Flights (instructions) will be a great help in finding the perfect dates for your trip. The airline will often sell the tickets for about the same price that you will also find when using our Travel Dealz flight search. So the choice is yours.

Qatar

The fare rules state that this deal will be available until November 30th. It’s valid for travel commencing between November 16th and December 16th as well as between December 31st and March 14th, 2020.

Minimum stay requirements are 3 days, and you could spend up to 6 months in the “Roof of the World”, if your schedule allows for such a long trip.

All tickets will be issued in booking class W. This gets you an earning rate of 25% with almost all Oneworld frequent flyer programs.

Etihad

Etihad will issue tickets until November 30th as well. Flights should be available more or less all through to September 2020. But also here, there are black-out dates, reducing availability.

We’ve been able to find the deal in early 2020, except for April. Minimum stay requirements are 3 days, and the maximum is 3 months.

The booking class will be E. Even though Etihad is not a member of a big airline alliance, you can still earn between 25% and 50% with many partner airlines.
