There are various other cities that you can depart from at prices that are higher but still a good offer. Although these connections are served only by Alitalia:

Warning

At this point we’d like to add a warning: Alitalia has been in financial troubles now for quite a while. It is not unlikely that they could shut down business at any given time. As a measure of precaution, we recommend using a credit card to book your flight. Chances of getting your money back are much higher that way.

From Milan, you will be on a direct flight. All other options include a layover in Rome. The airline will operate an Airbus A319 or similar for the feeder segments, the long-haul connection will be on board of an Airbus A330. The same goes for Air Italy.

Tickets for the Alitalia deal will be available until September 23th (layover) respectively 26th (non-stop). Or, of course, until the cheap seats are gone. According to the fare rules, the offer for direct connections out of Milan is only valid for flights between October 29th and December 13th.

Trips departing from other cities have different restrictions. Those have to commence between October 29th and April 14th, 2020.

Minimum stay requirements are 4 days in either case, and you have to return after one month to benefit from the fare.

If you’re interested in the Air Italy offer, we can’t give you too many details. The fare rules are only clear about the travel periods. Tickets should be available for trips commencing between August 15th and December 13th.

Use Google Flights (instructions). The tool will help you to find the dates that suit you best. Once you know when you want to travel, our Travel dealz flight search will get you the lowest price. Alternatively, you can also book directly on the carrier’s website, although this might result in a slightly higher fares.

Tickets for Alitalia flights will be issued in booking class F. This will get you an earning rate of 25% but only on very few SkyTeam frequent flyer programs. Air Italy’s boking class S means 100% on British Airways’ Executive Club!
