For €184, you would be staying in a standard room for 2 people. You can also pay €205 for a Queen room, €227 for a King room, or €238 for a Twin room. Either way, the reservation would be for 2 people + anyone below the age of 17, as long as he/she sleeps in the same bed. You can also bring a pet at no extra cost.
This deal is available for most nights until August 27. The booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before check-in begins.
The Hotel
The Hotel Triton is a modern boutique hotel and definitely a unique American hotel, located in direct proximity to San Francisco’s Union Square and the Museum of Modern Art.
The hotel has received rather positive reviews, with many guests appreciating the atmosphere. There have been some complaints though, especially regarding the lack of an in-room safe.
As mentioned before, the hotel is located in the Union Square neighbourhood, the commercial hub of San Francisco. There’s a lot to see around the hotel, such as Chinatown, which is only a 5-minute walk away. There are also many public transportation options next to the hotel, such as a bus stop right around the corner, meaning that you can also get to further-away attractions quickly, e.g. to the Presidio in 40 minutes. You also won’t have any problems finding a good restaurant within minutes.
Price Check
The cheapest room usually costs roughly €235 at this hotel, if you pick the refundable rate that includes the daily US$20 (~€19) Starbucks voucher. That in itself would mean that you’re saving over 20% by booking through Travelzoo.
On many dates, however, the hotel even charges much more, while Travelzoo sticks to the fixed price of €184. To show you an extreme example, if you stay on July 13, the hotel would charge €324, i.e. roughly 75% more.
