You can currently get a room at the 4-star Hotel Sovereign in Prague for only €37, including breakfast and free parking. Furthermore, this very cheap rate is even refundable. This great price can be found until the end of March.
We found this deal on Agoda, which seems to be the site offering the cheapest price for this hotel. If you’re travelling alone, the price even drops to €33.
The Hotel
The Hotel Sovereign in Prague is a 4-star hotel in an art-nouveau building that has a spa and is very well-connected to the city’s public transportation system.
Previous guests have written good reviews, many of them complimenting the proximity to the city center and the train station, as well as the friendly staff. The cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were not as positively reviewed, and some guests complained about the rooms being a bit too noisy.
You would be sleeping in the New Town neighbourhood, which is a commercial hub, perfect for tourists. You won’t have any trouble finding things to see close to the hotel, as well as restaurants. And if you want to see something that’s a bit further away, you have a subway station very close by, which can, for instance, take you to the other side of the river in only 4 minutes. Walking, however, is also an option, as e.g. the Charles Bridge is less than 20 minutes away by foot. Overall, the hotel’s location could be described as very good.
Price Comparison
On the same dates as our €37 example above, the hotel itself is charging €53 for the refundable fare with breakfast.
But even that is relatively cheap, as the hotel usually costs far more. In April, for instance, you’d be paying €125 for that same room. While February and March may not be the ideal travel period, the discount on this hotel is so great that it really may be worth travelling to Prague then instead of during spring or summer.
