Travelzoo is once again offering a great hotel deal. This time, you can buy vouchers for a Business Premium room for €163, including breakfast, at the Hotel Palace in Berlin. These vouchers can be redeemed until February 2023.
This deal is available on the German Travelzoo website. If you don’t speak German, we recommend that you use a browser that can translate the site for you. Once you’ve bought the voucher, you’ll be able to view it on the English Travelzoo site as well. Redeeming the voucher at the hotel is also possible in English.
You can redeem the vouchers by simply calling the hotel or by sending an email. If you wish to stay more than one night, simply buy multiple vouchers. You can return them for a full refund up to 14 days after purchase.
If you’re unsure about how many nights you’re going to stay, simply buy a few extra vouchers. Once you’ve decided, you can just get a refund for the ones you bought in excess.
The Hotel
The Hotel Palace Berlin, located next to the zoo, is a legendary 5-star hotel. Many celebrities have already stayed at this hotel, such as Claudia Schiffer and Tony Blair. The hotel offers an indoor pool, among other amenities.
The hotel has got very good reviews, earning it TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice in 2021. Most guests mention the large, clean, and modern rooms, and their good TVs, as well as the location, with the city centre, restaurants, sights, stores, and bars being within walking distance, as well as a good connection to the public transit network. Lastly, many have also complimented the friendly and professional staff (especially at the front desk) and the swimming pool.
The hotel’s location is very good, as it is located in Charlottenburg – a neighbourhood with elegant pre-war buildings and many chic boutiques. It’s a very upscale place to be, as you can stroll along the Kurfürstendamm (Berlin’s shopping boulevard) and then head to the Charlottenburg Palace and its beautiful park. It’s really a great place for tourists to stay, as there’s a lot to see there, as well as many restaurants. And thanks to Berlin’s good public transportation system, you’ll be able to get anywhere within minutes, e.g. the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag Building, and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe are all only a 15-minute bus ride away.
Price Check
Usually, you’d already be paying more if you stayed in the slightly smaller Business Deluxe room, as a non-refundable rate that includes breakfast in January costs around €225.
Of course, the prices vary a bit depending on the date, but generally, it can be said, that you’ll be saving at least 25%, often more.
