If you’re travelling to Athens before the end of March, you should definitely take a look at this 5-star Grand Hyatt hotel. The hotel is currently charging €130 per night for a refundable rate. If, however, you book on ASMALLWORLD, for the same price you’ll also get a room upgrade, breakfast for two, and US$100 (~€92) to spend during your stay at the hotel!
This price is available on many dates until late March 2023, as long as you stay at least 2 nights at the hotel. You can try out a few dates using our search form below, which will redirect you to ASMALLWORLD. If you don’t have one already, you’ll need to create an account, but don’t worry, it’s completely free, and the site can be fully trusted – we’ve tested it ourselves for our own private bookings.

The US$100 (~€92) property credit cannot be used to pay for the room. It’s intended for food and beverages at the hotel, e.g. the bar. The included breakfast is valid for both guests and is served at the hotel’s restaurant.
By booking through ASMALLWORLD, you’ll still earn World of Hyatt points!
You will also receive a room upgrade to a higher, non-suite category. Probably, from a standard room, they’ll upgrade you to a deluxe room. Both aren’t much different, but the deluxe room would usually cost €20 more per night. The difference probably lies in the view.

Until March, you’ll have mostly sunny weather in Athens, with temperatures usually ranging between 7 and 12 °C.
The Hotel
The Grand Hyatt Athens is a 5-star hotel with modern rooms, a concierge and room service, a restaurant, a lobby, and a gym. It’s also one of the few hotels in the area that has both a pool and a sauna. The hotel is located less than 15 minutes on foot away from the National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens (EMST).

Previous guests have left good reviews, many stating that the hotel was comfortable. The only issues that were mentioned were regarding the air conditioning, but that shouldn’t be a problem regarding this deal’s travel period.
The hotel is located in Athens’ city centre, which means that you’re close to many sights, such as the Temple of Olympian Zeus, which is a 25-minute walk or 15-minute drive away.
Price Check
This is a great deal, as ASMALLWORLD is charging the same price but giving you many additional benefits, such as the daily breakfast and the upgrade.
But even if you compare the price to other 5-star brands in the city, you’ll like this deal even more. Hotels such as the InterContinental Athenaeum (€134) and the Crowne Plaza (€145) are charging similar prices, but for non-refundable rates without breakfast. So you’re probably really better off, staying at the Grand Hyatt.
If you’re planning to travel to Athens after March, sadly, the Grand Hyatt will already be charging €185 per night.
