Travelzoo is selling vouchers for the 5-star Grand Hotel in Vienna. You would be staying in a 38 m² deluxe room, including breakfast and a welcome drink for a fixed price of €199 on almost any date until September 30. On most nights, you would be saving over €175 per night by using these vouchers.
This deal is available on the Spanish Travelzoo website. If you don’t speak Spanish, we recommend that you use a browser that can translate the site for you. Once you’ve bought the voucher, you’ll be able to view it on the English Travelzoo site as well. Redeeming the voucher at the hotel is also possible in English.
You can buy these vouchers until March 9, 2022 and then at some later point redeem them for stays during the following travel periods:
- Before May 9
- May 12 – June 2
- June 7 – June 15
- June 17 – September 30
Once you’ve purchased these vouchers, you simply need to email or call the hotel, when you’ve figured out the dates that you want to stay there. Should you, later on, decide, that you don’t want to travel to Vienna (or stay at this hotel) you can simply get a full refund for these vouchers. If you already redeemed them, you can cancel your reservation up until 7 days before your arrival.
If you’re unsure about how many nights you’re going to stay, simply buy a few extra vouchers. Once you’ve decided, you can just get a refund for the ones you bought in excess.
The Hotel
The Grand Hotel in Vienna is a majestic 5-star hotel that has been one of the best hotels in the city since 1870, with many historical names staying in this hotel, such as Johann Strauss. The belle époque style building is impressive, with marble floors, a beautiful lobby, as well as modern features, such as a rooftop restaurant, a fitness centre, and one of the best spas of Vienna. The Grand Hotel also offers childcare. TripAdvisor has given this hotel the Travellers’ Choice 2021 award.
The hotel has received very good reviews from previous guests, with many of them complimenting the rooms’ large bathrooms, the hotel’s architecture and the fantastic lobby, in which the 24-hr front desk does a very good job.
Located in the Innere Stadt neighbourhood, the city’s old town, the hotel is within walking distance of the Vienna State Opera and the Haus der Musik. The famous St. Stephen’s Cathedral is also only a 10-minute walk away. Undoubtedly, you won’t have any problems finding something to do or great places to dine in. You also have plenty of public transportation options in the hotel’s vicinity, such as the Karlsplatz station, which is only a 5-minute walk away.
Price Check
A refundable rate for a deluxe room with breakfast at the Grand Hotel usually costs between €375 and €395, depending on the specific date. It’s safe to say that you’d be saving at least 45% by using these Travelzoo vouchers.
The price of €199 is also slightly below the average price for 5-star hotels in Vienna, so if that’s the hotel category that you like to stay in, you’re definitely not doing anything wrong by purchasing these vouchers.
