Travelzoo France currently has a great offer for the Maldives. You’ll get 7 nights at the Fushifaru Maldives resort in a beach villa, including breakfast and one lunch or dinner for €1,658. For another €660, you could also stay in an on-water villa and would receive US$200 (~€188) resort credit. The 5-star hotel won the World Travel Award in 2019 for being the leading beach resort on the Maldives and is normally not available at such a cheap price.
Furthermore, this offer is also completely flexible – the “voucher” can be redeemed until December 23, 2022 or simply be returned for a full refund.
Sadly, the transfer from the airport to the hotel will cost another roughly €390 per person (with a speedboat or water plane). So, the total for the week would add up to €2,430 (excl. food & drinks).

Availability
The offer is available for dates until December 23, 2022. Merely the time period between December 24, 2021 and January 9, 2022 is not available. Also, you’d have to pay a seasonal surcharge of US$100 (~€94) per night at the hotel if you’re staying between January 10 and February 28, 2022.
As usual, Travelzoo will sell you a voucher for the stay, which you can directly redeem at the hotel – either over the phone or via email. You cannot see the exact availability, but should the hotel not be available on your preferred dates, you can simply get a complete refund for your voucher. You could also call the hotel before purchasing the Travelzoo voucher to ask about the availability. Should you already have bought the voucher and redeemed it for a specific date, you can still cancel up until 14 days before your stay.
The Hotel
The 5-star Fushifaru Maldives hotel lies on the island Fushifaru on the northern part of the Lhaviyani atoll. The resort naturally also has pools, as well as various restaurants and bars. There are also many leisure activities: you can get free equipment for stand-up paddling, canoeing, or snorkeling.

The best travel time for the Maldives is January, February, and March. Otherwise, you’ll have to expect 12-15 rainy days per month.
Price Comparison
The absolute cheapest price we were able to find was roughly €2,050 for 7 nights, but only for a few quite short-term dates. If you look at the prices later in the year, they become much higher.
