The ticket is valid for all TER-trains in France, except for trips within Ile-de-France, trains between Paris and Normandy (with reservation), and connections leaving France. Also, as mentioned, it’s really only valid for TER-trains, and not any other SNCF trains, such as the TGV, Transilien, Intercitès, etc.
