Air Italy, Qatar’s latest investment in the Italian aviation market, is currently selling low-cost tickets for flights from Milan to Lagos in Nigeria. The cheapest fare includes one piece of hand luggage and a personal item. If you want to check a bag, you will have to pay extra. But €314 is still a great deal!
If you’d prefer to fly another airline, Lufthansa‘s current deal might be even better for you: €316 for a round-trip is almost as good of a deal as is the Air Italy flight. You will have to change planes at least once in Frankfurt, but there will be two pieces of checked luggage included.
As of now, Air Italy is planning on operating a Boeing 737MAX on its route to Nigeria. But if these aircraft will be up in the air again any time soon seem pretty uncertain.
The flight time to Lagos will be around 6 hours, although some connections will include a short stop in Accra, Ghana. This will add another 1 1/2 hours to the total time of your trip.

The fare rules, unfortunately, do not state until when this offer will be available. And there are no minimum stay requirements that you’d have to consider. Also, you could book affordable one-way tickets, if you’d like. Prices start at €110. But you will only be able to find these connections on selected days.
EU citizens will need a visa to enter Nigeria. Ministeries of foreign affairs all over Europe are also recommending to stay away from the northern part of the country since this could get dangerous for tourists.
