The French airline Air Caraibes is currently selling cheap tickets for non-stop flights from Paris-Orly to Cayenne in French Guiana. But even Air France is selling its tickets for roughly the same price: €398. Unfortunately, luggage is not included in either fare. If you need to check a bag, you can add one during the process of booking on the airline’s website. Prices will go up by around €80 – 100.
Obviously, flying on Air France’s Boeing 777 is a far better experience than flying with Air Caraibes. Considering that this is a 9-hour flight, we highly recommend that you go for the Air France flights.
Another interesting fact: French Guiana is an official part of France and therefore part of the EU. Consequently, the currency used is Euros. This means that there is no need to exchange money and entry is possible for EU citizens without a visa.
Search & Book
We expect these low prices, particularly for the Air France tickets, to run out quickly. So, you should not think about this for too long.
You can use Google Flights (instructions) to find the cheap connections that are still out there.
