The French airline Air Caraibes is currently selling incredibly cheap tickets for non-stop flights from Paris-Orly to Cayenne in French Guiana. You can book a round-trip with a departure date in April starting at 232€. If you want to include checked luggage, you’ll have to pay 329€.
When flying with Air Caraibes, you should note that the Airbus A330 has very tight 3-3-3 seating. The seats are even narrower than in the Boeing 777 (Eco in 3-4-3) that Air France operates on the route to Cayenne. Since the flight time is around 9 hours, this can make a difference.
French Guiana is an official part of France and therefore part of the EU. Consequently, the currency used is Euros. This means that there is no need to exchange money and entry is possible for EU citizens without a visa.
