Fjordline is currently running a great sale for its ferry from Denmark to Norway. In August and September, you’ll be able to travel from Hirtshals to Langesund or Kristiansand (and back) for €60. As if that wasn’t good enough, you’ll be able to take your car on this trip, with up to 5 passengers.
The fare can be rebooked (while paying a fare difference) or canceled in exchange for a voucher, which will be valid for a year. Currently, Norway is letting vaccinated travelers enter the country, as well as travelers who already recovered from a Covid-19 infection.
This deal is only available on the German Fjordline website. If you wish to book in English, you’d have to pay €74. If you don’t speak German, we’d recommend that you use a browser which can translate the website for you.
To get this price, you need to register for free at the Fjord Club. Otherwise, you’d have to pay €340.
Between Hirtshals and Kristiansand, Fjordline uses a catamaran (built in 2020/21), with a capacity of 1,200 passengers and 400 cars. To Langesund, you’d be traveling on the MS Bergensfjord, which was added to the fleet in 2014, with a capacity of 1,600 passengers and 600 cars.
It takes roughly 2:15 hours to get to Kristiansand and roughly 4 hours to Langesund. On the map, you’ll see the location of the three ports.
