Update

This cruise became much cheaper and the good fares now also apply to the May sailings!

The Ship

The Enchanted Princess was ready to sail by September 2020, but only made its first commercial trip in November 2021. It is in the Royal class, modelled on her sister ship, the Sky Princess. There are not many major differences, Enchanted is about 4 tons heavier and it has Gigi’s Pizzeria instead of Alfredo’s. So what we wrote for Sky Princess also applies to the Enchanted Princess:

Across its 19 decks, you can find more than a dozen restaurants and bars, both free and speciality. Every age is welcome, as adults are able to escape to the Sanctuary while the kids are looked after in the Treehouse, Lodge or Beach House depending on their age.

As it’s a new ship, there is no lack of entertainment options. Of course, there is a big theatre, an outdoor movie theatre and a handful of events, such as art auctions or trivia. If these are not for you, you can use one of the three big pools or the many jacuzzis. You can play on the Sports Court, burn the calories from the lunch in the gym or bet away your salary in the Vegas-style casino.

This is what the cabins look like on the Sky Princess (Princess Cruises didn’t publish separate photos for the Enchanted Princess):

Here are also some Sky Princess impressions that also look the same on the Enchanted Princess:

Flights

Barcelona’s El Prat airport is just a stone’s throw away from the cruise port. Yet, we recommend you to arrive a day before your embarkation date so that you won’t miss your ship in case something goes wrong. Reus and Girona are also in the area, although they require a longer journey to Barcelona.

Civitavecchia is close to Fiumicino Airport. Rome itself and therefore Ciampino are not much further away. You can use our flight search box below. It will forward you to the Travel-Dealz.eu flight search or you can open Go2 to see other redirecting options.
