Emirates First Class: €829 Bangkok to Hong Kong Roundtrips (€560 Oneway)

Emirates First Class Seat

When someone thinks of Emirates‘ first class, they imagine full luxury for four-digit or five-digit prices. However, there is a possibility to enjoy this experience for 2 x 3 hours for less than €900, or THB 32,585 (~€825) to be precise. The price can get even lower, when you select mixed classes, although that would mean that you only fly first class once. You would fly from Bangkok, Thailand to Hong Kong on a fifth-freedom flight.

If you are willing to fly business class on either leg, the price goes down to THB 25,980 (~€657) and if you are fine with economy, your total will be THB 19,990 (~€506). That’s cheaper than booking a one-way first class ticket for the same route at THB 21,915 (~€555), since you can skip the inbound flight if you want to.

Update

Emirates booking system no longer allows mixing First with other travel classes for this route, meaning you have to pay the regular THB 21,915 (~€555) for a oneway if you want to fly first in just one direction.

Our availability calendar highlights all possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. It will forward you to Emirates with your chosen flight dates.

Emirates offers cheap return first class flights from Bangkok to Hong Kong.

You would fly Emirates’ Airbus A380 for approximately 3 hours. To describe the depth of luxury that you’d get on Emirates’ First Class, I would run out of adjectives. You can see the giant LCD screen, the minibar, the vanity table and the IFE controller tablet in the first picture. There is even a mirror.

Possibly, the most outstanding feature of Emirates’ Airbus A380 is the shower spa. While it’s more suitable for longer flights, there is nothing to block you from taking a shower on this shorter hop. Similarly, sleeping is not something many would do on this short flight, you can always ask the cabin crew to make your bed. If you decide to stay awake and don’t want to be locked in your cabin (you could do that), there is also an onboard lounge/bar. To hear about what they are famous for (service), you could read a review of it by One Mile at a Time.

You also get free chauffeur service. The airline offers its renewed lounge in Hong Kong and also operates a lounge in Bangkok. As mentioned above, this is a fifth freedom flight that operates from Dubai to Bangkok and then onwards to Hong Kong or vice versa.

I am trying to book this route however it may be worth noting that Emirates website does not allow mixing classes i.e. you cannot book outbound in 1st class and inbound in economy to get the cheaper fare than one-way first class. I contacted the airline and they can book such combination but at much higher fare.

I booked this flight and you do not get free chauffeur service this flight is an exception (if you are only doing BKK-HKG/HKG-BKK) – mention on their website

    Hi Miklos.
I did the trip on the 27th og February. As U state it is more than worth trying. An oustanding experience and affordable too. Best flight i’ve ever had!
And the Emirates own louge is still closed and Plaza Premium Lounge on first floor close to Emirates Lounge is not recommended. It is very crowded – instead use the other Plaza Premium Lounge on ground floor a 5 minutes walking distance away.

I have a small correction to your above mentioned information: U do NOT get a Pyjamas nor the Bvlgari amenity kit.

And if U travel out and back the same day -and is an old fashion guy as I am- don’t forget when checking in in BKK to ask for boading cards for both legs. U can then use the transit”route” and still be able to catch your return flight.
