Low cost carrier EasyJet has come up with a way to create a little revenue during the Covid-19 outbreak. While fares remain pretty much unchanged, the company currently runs an interesting promotion for checked bags. A thing that used to at least double the price on most EasyJet flights.
Every piece of checked luggage up 23 kg can currently be added to your booking for £0.99 / €0.99 per segment. The price is valid for up to three pieces of luggage and for all travel up to March 2021! Further, bulk or sports luggage falls under this new regulation, too. You can even add luggage to existing bookings at the quoted price.
This promotion was initially running until April 17, 2020. Easyjet keeps postponing its expiration date – currently it is scheduled to end on April 28, 2020.
