Costa Firenze: 16-Night Cruise from Barcelona to São Paulo Starting at €725 pp in Late 2022, incl. Tips (Refundable)

Costa Firenze

On November 30, the quite new Costa Firenze (inaugurated in 2020) sets sail from Barcelona, heading to ports in Spain, the Canary Islands, and Brazil, only to reach Santos in Latin America after 16 nights. An inside cabin only costs £464 (~€542) per person, while an oceanview cabin costs £694 (~€810). You can even stay in a balcony cabin for £863 (~€1,007).

The gratuities, however, are not included. Costa charges €11 per day and per person. For this cruise, that would amount to €176 per person, bumping the minimum price up to €725 per person.

The Ship

The Costa Firenze is Costa’s new flagship vessel since it gave its debut in 2020. Originally, it was designed for the Asian market, which is why there are many Chinese dining venues on board, as well as a large casino. The ship also has a multi-story water park, two swimming pools, and a mini-golf course, among other amenities. There’s also a rose garden on deck 15 and various sunshine decks. Kids from the age of three are also taken care of. The onboard language is English. In Europe, you’ll pay in Euro, while the US-Dollar is used elsewhere.

The ship has 2,136 cabins spread over 11 decks. All cabins have a bathroom with a shower, air conditioning with a thermostat, a flat-screen TV, and a safe. Balcony cabins also have an outdoor table with two chairs.

Flights

Probably, most of you will want to fly back from São Paulo. This is possible with many airlines, such as BoA, Tap Air Portugal, Avianca, Air Europa, Iberia, or LATAM. In economy class, prices to Spain start at €486, and you’d have to pay €1,204 in business class.
