Choice Privileges Promotion: 8,000 Points for Two Stays

Choice Hotels’ loyalty program Choice Privileges is currently running an interesting promo during the summer. The programs claims to reward members that sign up for the promotion before July 29, 2022 to reward them with 8,000 points for at least two stays (min. one night each) between today and July 29, 2022.

Normally, Choice Privilege credits 10 points for every Dollar you spend on a room. Reward nights start at 8,000 points. You can score award nights in a couple of rather attractive hotels in Scandinavia for this rate. They’d usually cost around €100.

Sadly, Choice Privilege’s own information about the promotion is rather indistinct. Their landing page states that guests receive a bonus between 5,000 and 8,000 points after completing their second night:

Registered members will be awarded a minimum of 5,000 to a maximum of 8,000 bonus points after the second qualifying stay. The number of bonus points awarded depends on the number of base points earned from the two separate qualifying stays, with points varying by hotel. The total of base points plus bonus points awarded, however, will be at least 8,000 points, which is the number of points required for a future free night at over 1,000 Choice™ hotels worldwide (see Free Nights, below).

Choice Hotels runs brands like Comfort Hotel, Clarion Hotel, Quality Hotel, Quality Inn and Cambria Suites. While their main market is North America, they also run hotels in major European cities.

Terms & Conditions

The promotion runs until July 29, 2022 for stays between today and July 29, 2022. You need to register for Choice Privileges first, the registration is free.

Only bookings made via choicehotels.com for at least US$40 (~€38) are eligible for the bonus. Award nights or hotel based promotions are excluded.

The promotion is limited to residents of Europe and the Middle East. There is a separate promotion for American and Canadian citizens.
