We have often reported on the attractive Lufthansa offers from Strasbourg, with which you can travel cheaply all over the world. But departing from the French city is also interesting for closer-lying destinations – e.g. there are flights to various destinations in North Africa in business class from as little as €211. Unfortunately, real business class seats are not used on these routes, but the price is still good. You can fly to Marrakech and Agadir with Eurowings Discover, to Tunis and Casablanca with Lufthansa.
Lounge access, a free adjacent seat and a meal on board are included in Lufthansa’s & Eurowings Discover’s business class. However, you have to sit on seats that do not differ from those in economy class. You can bring 2x 32 kg of checked baggage and also two pieces of hand baggage, each weighing up to 8 kg.
Please note that the Strasbourg – Frankfurt segment is operated by bus. There is no business class there, so you’ll have to sit in the usual long-distance bus seats.
The tickets can generally be rebooked, but a fee of €70 plus any price difference will be charged.
To enter Tunisia, unvaccinated people need a negative antigen or PCR test. Unvaccinated persons are only allowed to enter Morocco if they present a negative PCR test.

You can reach the following destinations inexpensively:
First, the Lufthansa long-distance bus usually takes just under three hours from Strasbourg’s train station to Frankfurt Airport. From there, the Lufthansa/Eurowings Discover flight is operated with planes from the Airbus A320 family. These have the same seats in business class as in economy, but the middle seat remains free. In addition, you will of course receive all other business class benefits such as priority check-in, lounge access, better food, etc.
Please note that you must definitely start the journey in Strasbourg. The bus driver ticks off all the passengers who have boarded and then transmits the data to Lufthansa. Things are different on the way back, as if you can’t find the bus on time, you’ll have a valid excuse for your trip ending in Frankfurt.

It is not clear how long the prices will stay this low. You can generally find availability from September to June, but it varies greatly depending on the destination.
Unfortunately, you cannot find suitable dates using Google Flights. The best price search is the best option to find the cheapest dates. You can book the flights directly on Lufthansa’s website.
