100+ Destinations in the US, Canada & Mexico in Oneworld Business Class; Starting at €1,335 from Budapest

Several Oneworld members like American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia teamed up to bring you cheap Business Class flights from Budapest to the United States, Canada and Mexico. The most interesting part of this deal is the enormous list of possible destinations: More than 100 destinations in the US alone can be found for less than €1,500. This includes plenty of smaller airports like Myrtle Beach, Savannah, Santa Barbara, Greensboro and Key West.

Depending on the destination, either one or two transit stops are unavoidable. The cheapest fare is available for departures in January, February and March 2023. If you’d like to travel from April to September 2023, expect to pay about €80 more.

You can purchase most of the tickets on British Airways‘ website. If not, Google Flights will show you some alternatives – mostly American Airlines. Feel free to use the following form to book your flights. The cheapest tickets can be found for flights from January to March 2023, however flights from April to September are only a couple of Euros more:

All flights require at least one change of planes, most of them two. One at a European and one at a North American Oneworld hub. If you book on American Airlines’ website, some connections include a feed from Budapest with Lufthansa.

Search & Book

We cannot tell you how long this fare remains valid. We were able to find departures at the lowest price from January through March 2023. There’s a similar fare for travel from April to September 2023 for about €80 more.

You have to stay at the destination for at least one Saturday night. There’s no limit regarding the maximum stay.

Google Flights displays these fares accurately, so it is the most convenient way of finding cheap flight dates (instructions). After retrieving flight dates, you can purchase tickets on an Oneworld website like ba.com.

Destination

Hotel prices in the USA usually start at roughly €70, depending on the hotel category. However, if you want to stay in a central location in a larger city, rates of €200 per night and above are not uncommon. Whichever category and hotel you opt for, make sure to get the best price! Information & Tips for USA

Immigration, ESTA & Visa Requirements

Currency

The US dollar is widely used throughout the world and accepted as a currency in most tourist hotspots worldwide. That being said, carrying cash isn’t necessary in the US, all you need is a credit card! These are very common in the USA and are accepted pretty much everywhere without any issues. If you already have a credit card in your wallet, you should make sure that it does not charge a foreign currency fee if possible. Carrying a few dollars in cash doesn’t hurt though. You might need cash e.g. for the bus ticket if you want to buy it directly from the driver. Most of the time you even have to give exact change.
