You can currently fly to Indonesian destinations Bali-Denpasar and Jakarta from Brussels with the Star Alliance for prices starting at €462. The flights include luggage and are operated by either Lufthansa or SWISS to Singapore, and then by Singapore Airlines for the rest of the trip until Indonesia.
If you’re flying to Bali, the flight times are not particularly great, as you’d have to stay almost 13 hours in Singapore on the outbound flight. Singapore’s Changi Airport does, however, offer many entertainment options, such as free tours of the city, free cinema, a huge shopping mall with restaurants and even a swimming pool. If you’re willing to pay a bit more, you’ll mostly be able to avoid this long layover (often as little as €9 will suffice).
If you’re flying to Jakarta, the tickets are a bit more expensive anyways, but the flight times are great, with very short layover times.
If you’re flying to Bali-Denpasar, very often the flight from Singapore to Bali will be operated by Silk Air. Silk Air belongs to Singapore Airlines. While their flights are also good, if you have the choice between Silk Air and Singapore Airlines, we recommend flying with Singapore Airlines. JetStar will also sometimes be an option, but this is something we would definitely not recommend, as they are a low-cost airline.
Search & Book
Sadly, we couldn’t retrieve the fare rules for this flight, so we don’t know until when this deal will be valid. We definitely strongly recommend booking as soon as possible.
You can use Google Flights to find available dates. The price listed in Google Flights is higher, but if you take those dates and then search for tickets on our Travel-Dealz flight search, you’ll be able to find tickets for these nice prices. If you don’t want to go through the trouble of using Google Flights, you can use our availability calendar, that’ll show you available dates for trips of 6-9 days:
Booking directly at the airline is possible in theory, but the prices are far higher, starting at roughly €750.

Information & Tips for Bali
Bali is probably the most popular holiday island in Indonesia. While the metropolises of the country are more interesting for tourists that like the hustle and bustle, Bali offers a lot of recreation options with beaches and the rainforest.
Bali is one of the most expensive destinations in Asia when it comes to airfares from Europe. Here you have to be prepared to pay €400 – €600 for a return flight. Everything under €500 is an excellent price for Bali.
The Best Time to Visit
From May to October Bali is under the influence of the monsoon. It brings hot and dry air and a lot of rain. Therefore, the dry season is the best travel time for Bali. Those who come to the island between May and October can look forward to good holiday weather without inconveniences.
From/to the airport
The main airport on the island is Denpasar. The resorts and hotels, however, are mostly further out. Many hotels offer transfers for their guests. Otherwise, it is advisable to take a taxi or organize a transfer yourself.
