Turkish Airlines is momentarily selling tickets to Bangkok at very reasonable prices. Departing from Belgrade, you can get tickets for a round-trip starting as low as RSD 46,200/€392. Flights out of Zagreb are available at a similar price.

Even though the price is really low, you can still bring your snorkel gear or an extra bathing suit. One piece of checked luggage is already included in the fare.

As with most other Turkish Airlines offers, the first flight will take you to the airline’s hub in Istanbul. From there, your ~ 10 hours flight to Bangkok will continue on board of an Airbus A330.

Fare rules state that tickets for this trip have to be sold until June 30th and that the offer is valid for flights commencing between June 17th and September 30th, 2019.

You’ll have to stay for 3 days or at least the night from Saturday to Sunday. Also, if your last stopover commences any later than 3 months after your departure, you won’t be able to take advantage of this deal.

Use Google Flights (instructions) to find available dates. Your best chances will be from August to October. Once you settled for a specific time, go to Skyscanner to compare prices that OTAs offer. Or just have Google forward you to the carrier’s website.

All tickets will be issued in booking class P. If you’re not a member of Miles+Smiles or United Mileage Plus, you won’t earn any miles at all for this trip.

From the airport to the city center

Suvarnabhumi Airport is connected to the city center by train. Trains run between 06:00 and 23:59 approximately every 15 minutes and the journey takes 24 minutes. A taxi ride costs about 400 Baht and takes, depending on the traffic, 30 minutes to more than an hour.
