Search & Book
The tickets have no expiration date nor travel restrictions other than the overnight layover in Kangerlussuaq. Similarly, no minimum nor maximum stay applies and you can even buy one-way trips.
Our availability calendar above is the best way to look for flight dates. If you want to set filters, you can also try Google Flights. There are more available dates if you book through an online travel agency (OTA) via our Travel-Dealz.eu flight search. If you want to play it safe, you can use Air Greenland’s website.
Stopover in Kangerlussuaq
The trips involve an overnight layover in Kangerlussuaq. But, don’t let this trash your travel plans! While none of the local properties appear on Booking.com, there are options for everyone. Options include:
- DKK 275 (~€37) 4-6 bed shared room offered by Kangerlussuaq Youth Hostel
- DKK 590 (~€79) private room by Old Camp
- DKK 1,575 (~€211) rooms in the Hotel Kangerlussuaq
And don’t worry, you don’t have to be locked in your room during your stay. There are many activities and tours offered by hotels and tour operators and you can even set off on your own (you can ask for help from the locals). You can learn more from Air Greenland’s destination website.
Destination
For the reasons mentioned above, we suggest looking for hotels on Google Maps after you check Booking.com and Expedia.dk.
Air Greenland has very valuable destination guides for Nuuk, Ilulissat and Sisimiut. As you can see below, it’s better not to forget your winter clothes, even if you travel in the summer.
