I don’t see the deal in this “offer”! I checked the Dusit Thani Dubai.
If I book a standard deluxe room with the website it will cost me 524 AED in total. Included are “Welcome drinks and cold/hot towel upon arrival”.
Unfortunately I didn’t find a way to add breakfast.
If I choose that offer “Double Eleven” the deluxe room will cost me 564 AED. The only thing what is added now is the breakfast. But the Welcome drinks and towel are not included anymore!
The “deal” just gives you a breakfast for additional 40 AED (and takes your Welcome Drink)!
Did I miss something or is it just a way to fool the customers?!
Hi Phillip, Thanks for checking out the offer and leaving a comment! Unfortunately, we can’t reconstruct the problem you’ve been facing. When we tried to book a deluxe room at the said hotel for one night, savings were significantly higher than the 40 AED. Maybe you could let us know the dates you’ve been checking? That way, we could have a closer look. As to the welcome drink and hot/cold towel: you seem to be correct. The website really doesn’t mention them when booking the “Double Eleven” rate. It could be a mistake. And if not, daily breakfast should beat those two benefits.

You are right, I forgot to mention the date: it was from December 01 to December 02, what is actually holiday in UAE.
Just to make sure: It was not a SAVING of 40 AED, it was ADDITIONAL costs of 40 AED to the standard rate! And since in the morning the price also increased. It is now 552 (standard rate) to 601 (offer rate). Which dates have you checked?
I checked now also other dates, but it’s always the same. The deal is more expensive as the standard rate. Unfortunately I can’t upload the screenshot here. Maybe I can just verify with the dates where you saw the offer.
It would be really great to get this offer right now if I can use it also during the upcoming holidays.
Hi Phillip! I tried to book a room at the Dusit Thani Dubai from December 1st to December 2nd. While I received a warning that the requested rate is not available during these dates, the price for a night at a Deluxe Room (2 guests) was displayed at AED 450. Also, I could still see the little “present” blinking next to the price, stating that breakfast will be included when booking directly via dusit.com.
