CurrencyFair allows you to transfer money to other currencies. CurrencyFair tries to be cheaper than your bank or e.g. Western Union by not exchanging the money in the classic way but by waiting until another user wants to exchange money in the other direction.
For example, if you want to transfer Euros into US dollars, Currencyfair waits until someone wants to exchange US dollars for Euros and thus allows for both of you to exchange at the cheapest exchange rate possible. If no one can be found, CurrencyFair steps in and exchanges your currency at a regular market rate.
A function even allows you to specify the desired exchange rate. Only if this is actually reached will the transfer be made.
