As a member of United’s MileagePlus frequent flyer program, you can earn miles on flights with United, Star Alliance and all other partner airlines.
The program is partly revenue-based and partly distance-based. On United Airlines flights miles will be credited depending on the sales price. Miles for flights with other Star Alliance carriers that are not issued as United Airlines Ticket Stock, however, are calculated based on distance.
