The Airbus A350 is a latest-generation aircraft, if not the latest long-range aircraft. Just like the Boeing 787, the twin-engine aircraft was developed from scratch by Airbus. In front of a high proportion of carbon fibre composites, fuel consumption is significantly reduced and there are also some amenities for the passengers such as extra large windows, a low noise level due to the engines in the cabin and so-called “mood lighting”, which can simulate times of day.
The first customer was Qatar Airways, where the cabin pressure was higher and the air humidity higher. The Airbus A350 is now in service with other airlines such as Finnair, Singapore Airlines and LATAM.
